The Utah Department of Health, Baby Watch Early Intervention Program (BWEIP), offers an opportunity to review and comment on its 2013 Annual Application for funds under part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

The application for funds to the United States Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, includes the required assurances, budget, and any new or revised policies required for the application. The amounts listed in the budget are based on the current year FFY 2012 allocation, as the Office of Special Education Programs has yet to announce the
anticipated award amounts for FFY 2013.

A copy of the application may be viewed at the BWEIP office at 44 N. Mario Capecchi Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84113, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The application will also be made available at each early intervention program contracted through the BWEIP, as well as at the Utah Parent Center.

Interested citizens are invited to comment on the application. Written, oral, or emailed comments
may be submitted no later than March 20, 2013 to:
